This a well attended Christmas event in Lymington having been established for approximately 9 years now and has now become a date in locals diaries to bring their families too to enjoy the beginning of the festivities.
The High Street is closed from New Street up up Church Lane where market traders sell their festive wares and gift ideas for Christmas, along with lots of Christmasy taste sensations and hot food and drink for all budgets, as well as children rides and
At 6pm the blessing of the crib at the Church takes place, followed by the Mayors speech, carol singing and the Christmas lights being switched on.
Father Christmas also makes an appearance in a Sleigh at approximately 6.30pm.
We are currently seeking traders wishing to sell purely festive fayre and Christmas gift ideas, along with traders selling hot food, hot drinks, alcoholic beverages and take away snacks.
Stall holders MUST be able to light their stall during the event and are strongly encouraged to festively decorate their stall to add to the Christmas ambiance.
Free parking for traders is available in nearby car parks.
