Where was the music this year in the main food court? Last year it was very upbeat and people were drinking/ eating/ dancing. This year was very quiet and people quickly moved through and on.

Well organised, friendly event where the organisers actually listen to feedback and try to accommodate traders requests where possible. Excellent footfall over both days. Paid ÂŁ130/day plus VAT – could be cheaper but I guess that’s what pays for James Martin!

Fantastic event. Good footfall. However, not impressed with being told by the Mobile Thrones people that I “must” move my car out of the way (even though considerately parked) because it was “very important” that they tow their toilets out. So, as a paying stallholder (as opposed to being paid by the event organisers) we weren’t important? Not organisers fault I know, but nice to have an opportunity to vent anyway 🙂

Great event and the hard work of the APT really shows. Robert from TOA was on hand each day to deal with any issues and to keep everyone happy and customers & stall holders have nothing but great things to say. Plenty of customers and good sales….Can’t wait for 2018

Great organisation but not sure if it was the heat, football, celebrity chefs or a combination of all 3 that kept the people away this year but the event was at least 50% down on last 2 years for most traders. I hope it is pulled back to its usual terrific footfall next year as it is a fabulous day out.

I can only agree with the above comment, the place was like a ghost town compared to the last few years. Our figures were down by nearly 50% on the previous year which resulted in a loss for the weekend.

The organisation and marketing of the event was perfect as always but the people just didn’t show. That being said Sunday was busier than Saturday but I’m seriously considering giving it a miss next year.

This was our first year trading at the festival so we can’t compare footfall from previous years but it was an amazing event for us and our sales were way beyond expected. Brilliantly organised, the event team were on hand throughout to help with any issues. Set up and pack down was easy. Good flow through the whole festival. Overall a great atmosphere, seemed like everyone was enjoying themselves. The live music was great in our area and our trade neighbours were all lovely. It was an incredibly hot weekend and there were some big sports finals on (football world cup and Wimbledon) so this probably effected the footfall as most traders we spoke to said it was a bit quieter than usual. It was definitely worth the 3 hour drive for us, lovely festival! Big thank you to the event team.

This was our 4th year back so really thought we knew what to expect but unfortunately totally agree with previous few comments…. footfall just wasn’t there this year and our takings were an incredible 65% down on previous years and resulted in a massive loss.

Ditto the great organisation and agree not sure what has affected it this year…. do wonder about the chefs as must admit it’s the first year I hadn’t heard of them!! Let’s hope it pulls back for future years!

2018 was the first time that we have had a stand at the festival. Whilst it was jolly hot and a busy weekend with many events happening, including Wimbledon finals and the World Cup, we could see that people loved coming to such a beautiful setting to enjoy the wonderful food & drink on offer. I was delighted that our cheeses were used in the food demonstrations by Tom Kerridge on the Saturday, it was fantastic to be showcased by such a prestigious chef. Thank you to all the organisers for their hard work to make the weekend run smoothly.
